A warning to my comic geek fan friends.

Apparently my great fear has been realized and the first image of the Two-Face makeup effects (the concept art, at least) for THE DARK KNIGHT has been leaked out. Warner Bros is already sending out cease-and-desist orders to have them removed, but they are spreading into my usual web sites, including here on LJ.

Do not, I repeat do NOT send me this picture. I do *not* want to see it. I sincerely, deeply hope to avoid seeing any image of Two-Face until I see the actual film.

No spoilers whatsoever. Me no wanna. If you see it, don't tell me anything about it. That's an order. Please.

I found a bunch of eps on YouTube and a site with high-quality screencaps, but I can't bring myself to play with them until tomorrow afternoon when at least half my work will be done (or late, at which point it won't be accepted anyway.)

thanks for the warning! I don't want to see them either... I was enjoying the new trailer last night and notes specifically that they showed what appeared to be the acid incident (presumably noted by your icon there) but NOT Two Face.

I will be careful not to do too much research so as not to be spoiled myself.

Can I tell you how bloody excited I am for this movie?? (probably not as much as you, but I would rate it as my most anticipated movie of the summer)

I didn't waaaant to be spoilered, and now I'm sad, grumpy and inclined to be really angry with him, even though he thought he was being nice by showing it to me.

Pretty interesting. He makes good points. As a GL fan, I have lamented the lack of iconic stories I can point to people and say, "This. This is Green Lantern."

When Joss Whedon was gonna do Wonder Woman, he seemed to want to throw everything out and keep her almost in name and basic concept only. I have no idea, maybe he could have still gotten the spirit of the character and her world down, but somehow, I think he would have missed the point and just created "Joss Whedon's character who just happens to be called Wonder Woman" rather than "Wonder Woman, Diana of Themyscira."
