thehefnerI just saw a commercial for seat-belt safety or something or other, nothing too notable... except that the music they were playing was the theme for the movie RAVENOUS. It's one of my favorite movies, my personal cult movie (it features Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle as homoerotic cannibal vampire wendigos and David Arquette dies *twice* in it!), and it also has the wierdest, coolest soundtrack I've ever heard. It's a collaboration between Oscar-winner Michael Nyman (composer of "The Piano") and "Blur" lead singer Damon Albarn. AWESOME!!!
I am probably one of, say, three people who will recognize the music, and the other two are probably people to whom I've shown the movie.
Spacechild, to give you an idea of what this movie means to me, RAVENOUS is *my* BATTLE ROYALE. We will have a movie night one of these days.
