Last night, I saw David Cronenberg's first feature-length film, SHIVERS, aka ATTACK OF THE BLOOD PARASITES, aka THEY CAME FROM WITHIN. It's about a parasite that's part aphrodisiac, part venereal disease, and it causes mindless, uncontrollable sexual desire in its host. Imagine SLITHER if the slugs caused zombie incest rape orgies.

I blame you, Canada.

Ah Shivers. I caught it one night with my buddy Allan and I believe by the end we just started cheering "Rape! Rape! Rape!" whenever we saw a non-infected person. Good times....good times.

Yeah, I feel like I told you about this at some point. Ah well. Anyway, as far as you being more disturbed than me, the only thing that really bugs me is cannibalism. Stuff like Shivers is fine, especially if there are plenty of tits and Italians to make fun of. I'm a simple man.
