Hellboy on INSIDE THE ACTOR'S STUDIO:

God, can we just have Ron Perelman go on the talk show circuit (right down to Rachel Ray's cooking show) in costume and character as Hellboy? That would make me a happy panda.

Everyone here is going to go see HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY this weekend, right?

It doesn't matter if you didn't see or didn't like the original HELLBOY. It really doesn't. By all accounts, HELLBOY II has far more in common with PAN'S LABYRINTH, with several sources hailing it as a magnificent next step for Mr. Del Toro on the way to directing THE HOBBIT. This film is supposedly nothing short of fantastic.

So go. Everyone who loves ass-kicking fantasy, everyone who gets a little moist thinking of David Bowie as the Goblin King or the entire Mos Eisley Cantina scene, go see, support, and love HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY. This film cost more than the first one made, so it needs the love and support.

Go. Friday. Go.

Dammit, I want to see it SO BAD, but my brokeness is proving to be quite a stumbling block (I don't even have access to my Hellboy icon no more!) Hopefully by the time some of my sweet sweet house-sitting money starts coming in I'll be able to catch it.

Also, I may have proposed this rule in this journal in the past, but it bears repeating: Del Toro should no longer be allowed to make a movie ever again, unless it involves one or more awesomely-designed monsters.

Hah! Ugh, my bloody username. Hate it with a passion, but am too lazy to change it. Can't even remember why I chose it. Think I was on one of my periodic Greek myth kicks.

And yeah, I dunno why I'm whining, it's not like I could even *get* to the cinema to go see Hellboy if it came out this week. I have bronchitis :( I am confined to bed and am currently bad-tempered, bored and have illegally downloaded many episodes of JLA, Batman, Deadwood and Battlestar Galactica. And if they try to come and prosecute me, then I'll *cough* on them.

Well, I didn't *doubt* it, since it'd be an odd thing to have on an icon. Unless, I dunno, you were like Madonna, and constantly reinventing yourself. That's actually pretty damn awesome, I had no idea!

But then, I don't know much about you period. It's an odd thing, have a constant LJ friend who doesn't update her own LJ. Not that I dislike the one-sided attention by any means, but still... :)

I had hoped one should consume neat vodka, in order to kill off the infection, but my mother won't let me have it. Something about mixing alcohol and antibiotics resulting in delirium and trips to hospital, apparently.

I dunno. My internet access is normally pretty limited, and my life is really rather dull, not the stuff of interesting blog fodder at all. Better use of my time to muck about commenting on blogs & communities that interest me. But, um, anything you desperately want to know about me? ;)

Yeah, might not be an ideal mixture. Then again, I dunno, I have no idea how they're react to one another. Pills and booze generally have a way of not mixing. Except when you REALLY want to party.

I don't have any questions at present, now that the mystery of the icon has been solved ("Good work, gang!" "Rooby Rooby Rooooo!"), but I shan't hesitate to ask from here on out. :)
