Christopher Eccleston.

"Who?" I hear many of you ask (no pun intended... really). He just happens to be one of my favorite Brit actors. He's a mainstay in Danny Boyle movies. He's the guy who's not Ewan McGregor in "Shallow Grave." He's the lead soldier-boy in "28 Days Later." He's the Revenger in "Revengers Tragedy," that trailer I posted here with Eddie Izzard.

I have no experience/interest in Dr. Who, but since I know there are many here who do (and since I think I'm the most familar with Eccleston's work) I thought I'd just go ahead and post this anyway.

Any thoughts, Who-heads?

Almost ANYBODY would be better than that piker, Paul McGann, that they got for the TV movie they did a couple years back in 1996 right after cancelling the series with Sylvester McCoy. I'll be glad they're not picking up with him.

Christopher Eccleston was great in 28 Days Later, and I hope I get to see him in Revenger's Tragedy. When the BBCi program finally gets over here to a PBS station I'm sure I'll be pleased.
