Must not get sick. Mom has a sore throat and we're going to Boulder, Colorado for the Boulder Fringe Festival where I will be performing the original HEFNER MONOLOGUES for five performances in what is supposedly the town's hovel for hipster douchebaggery and I. Must. Not. Get. Sick. Copious amounts of zinc and Vitamin C will be my friends now.

God, I hate having that constant feeling that I'm forgetting something. Some deadline, some sign-up, some obligation that's gotten swept under amid Orlando Fringe, sexytime with sexy ladies, CapFringe, costume fun, THE DARK KNIGHT, and the Harvey Dent novel. Have I mentioned that it's been an eventful summer? And it ain't over yet.

September will be dedicated to sleep and DVDs, mark my words.

careful with the zinc. too much can lead to lesions. I know this as a person I knew who made his living with his voice (Square dance caller) had this happen to him.

I found a product that seemed to help fight off a cold along with Zinc: it's fizzy powder you mix with water, comes in several flavors, called Emergen-C. I've heard it's at CVS; I got mine at the MOM store. Little blue packets. I drank at least 3 a day for as long as it took, and dodged colds a couple of different times last winter.
