Kenneth Branagh.

Directing THOR.

As in Marvel Comics' "I SAY THE NAY" THOR.

...

Well now.

It that a "Titus" icon? You have got to be kidding me. I was just thinking about that movie the yesterday when I was heating up a microwave pot pie.

Awesome movie.

You bet it's a TITUS icon! And the fact that you were thinking about it with meat pie is just awesome.

By the way, I'm set and scheduled for my trip to NYC on the weekend of Oct. 24-26th. I'll be staying around Penn Station, so keep me in mind and let's do dinner (after 8:30 each day will be my only free time).

By the by, we haven't cavorted lately.

If this keeps up I'll have to go to LJ and register a complaint.

And whoooooo's fault has that been, hmmm?

You've got my number. And LJ. And IM, if you ever use that heathen technology.

We'll see. I mean, Branagh screwed up a Frankenstein movie, but it could still be OK as long as he doesn't cast himself in the title role.

I think it all depends on the screenplay. Last I heard, the screenplay for THOR was fucking awesome, but I dunno if that's the one they're gonna use.

And I dunno, man, he might make a good Fandral the Dashing.

I dunno, man. I'm feeling pain. A disturbance in the Force. I don't know anything about the comic-book THOR but I just don't get a good feeling off of this.

The first THOR movie would be entirely set in Asgard (a full-blown straightforward fantasy epic), while it would be a set-up for Thor coming to our own Midgard to join the Avengers in their own movie. If Marvel keeps with the program that they've established with IRON MAN and to a lesser extent THE INCREDIBLE HULK, this could possibly maybe really be something.

My initial reaction is SQUEE, but I begin to doubt.

It could really be a bit of a wild card. But then, so was Jon Faverau.
