See you there, assuming I haven't died from [livejournal.com profile] little_dinosaur inflicting poutine upon me! Seriously, I'm scared.

"C'est 'Vive,' Jean" dit la fille qui a trop corrigé les textes des élèves. "'Vive le Québec.'"

ETA: En plus, la poutine ne va pas te tuer. Après l'avoir mangé, j'ai survécu. Regarde la gloire de la poutine!!!

You're talking funny talk.

And it was a choice between correct French or correctly quoting THE CRITIC. I stand by my decision.

Dude, I would pay cash money for an mp3 of that remix. I think I tried ganking it from the site a while back unsuccessfully.

'Kay, WAY less disgusting than chili fries. And let's not even get into the deep-fried macaroni and cheese on a stick. We'll drink, we'll split one, you'll be fine. I've been led to believe that the American digestive system can handle motor oil. Don't let me down!
And then real yummy food! And absinthe! Haha. We should talk about your accommodations too. What do you want/like/need? How long, when exactly, etc.? Car obviously?

Did you hear that Rob's now fourth on the reserve list? That's eleven spots ahead! I may yet be billeting the both of you.

Huzzah! As long as we have a variety of bad things of all kinds of quality to put into my body, we'll be swell!

I'll be arriving around June 10th, methinks. I'll be driving the minivan up. What do I need? Um... well, a bed would be nice, but I have an air mattress if needed! And I'll need to leave on... well, that's the thing, I don't have do be anywhere until July 15th for Winnipeg, so I'll need to talk to my peeps to see if I need to be back for anything, or if I have anyone else to stay with between Montreal and Winnipeg, or if there are any road trip routes I can take to spend those weeks, or what.

And huzzah! Man, here's hoping he makes it! Need me to bump off a couple other performers to clear some space?

Sorry! Totally spaced on replying here. I have the flu apparently and it turns out that fevers make you a space cadet.

We have space for you to park either behind the house or, more likely, behind my dad's art gallery. It's about thirty feet from the house, which is very convenient.

I can't put you up for a month because my parents might kill me (and I will definitely not have found a place yet by June 10, which is two weeks after I get back to Montreal), but you're totally welcome for at least the entire duration of the Fringe! And don't worry, you'll have a real mattress. With a real duvet!

He's now THIRD. So maybe you bumped somebody off already?

Go figure! (Egad, sorry to hear it! Poor sickie Sammy)

Awesome, having space for parking is very important!

Okay, well, I'll just have to figure out something. Which I'm sure I will be able to do. I am clever that way.

Well, I have been suffering occasional blackouts, only to wake up covered in Canadian blood. I know it's Canadian because it's more polite than American blood.

Cool, you get to be at the Mainline! It's one of the most charming theatres in Montreal! I'll definitely be there!

Word of advice: don't try any weird poutine, like chicken-cream-and-peas. Stick to the classic!

Oh awesome! Great to know! I'm sure I have the smallest venue there, as I do best with intimate spaces, so I'm glad to hear it!

Oh, no, no of course! If I do this, I gotta do it right! Just wait, I'll end up loving it and will become obsessed with trying every damn variation.

It's definitely an intimate venue, though I doubt it's the smallest one at Fringe. And it's a great location, right near the border between the trendy artsy neighbourhood and the trendy bar scene.

Friends of mine put on a play there some time ago. I recall there were a couple of technical glitches, like the impossibility of running the lights and the air conditioner at the same time... But from what I've gathered, your show doesn't require many FX (and Fringe kind of precludes anything too complicated anyway), so it should be great.

Awesome! Hopefully it'll attract a decent audience. And yeah, it's super low-tech, so that should be no problem. I look forward to seeing you there!
