You didn't happen to watch adult swim last night did you? They showed Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" at Midnight and 2:30am as their april fools joke. After alot of "wtf"-ing I finally found out via wikipedia and other sources that this movie has a huge cult following and is likely to become the next Rocky Horror. It is known as "The Citizen Kane of bad movies," making Tommy Wiseau the "Orson Welles of crap." He made it as a dramatic vanity piece "with the passion of Tennessee Williams," (he literally used this phrase on all the film's promotional material) but now calls it a black comedy because he can't screen the film without audiences laughing so hard they cry. Highly recommended.
