Right in the middle of my summer tour, in the heart of the biggest festival, after two bloody years of doing this show, and it's only now that I realize it's about Dad.

Well shit.

It needed time to settle in. Congrats on your increasing self-knowledge.

I did my first Fringe with this show two weeks after he died. I think the mourning process had much to do with the time needed to sink in. Now I need to revise the show accordingly, maybe even give it a full overhaul. I need to figure out what it is I need to be saying with this show now.

Btw, I will _not_ be making it to the anniversary party, as I'll be out of town. (I'll be back by Sunday morning, but that's a bit too late).

Now I need to see your show EVEN MORE. Speaking of which, the place that I believe would suit you quite nicely (in Waterloo, Ontario) is this place:
http://www.janebond.ca/
Specifically, the Starlight. Because the things that occur there are diverse and spectacular. Like you!

I very much hope to have you there one of these days!

But I'm afraid the Internet here is not the greatest. What is the Jane Bond thing? A performance space? A festival?

A performance space opposite the coolest little privately-owned cinema. The Starlight is in the same building, but accessed from the other street (it's on a corner.)
They host all kinds of interesting acts - from popular Indie musicians to the infamous Neil Hamburger, who makes it a regular tour stop. It's a unique place with a primarily University crowd.

Isn't that such a wonderful feeling, when you figure something out that you didn't even realize you were trying to figure out?

Well, it will be, once I figure out how to revise the script accordingly in the immediate future. It may likely require an entire script overhaul eventually, but I doubt I'll be able to do that by the next Fringe. It's a very complex bundle of sensations I'm feeling right now.
