"Lame or shallow," I totally hear you on that. I'm going over my own "best of" list, and a couple of these choices will totally seem light and forgettable compared to what many would consider the GREAT works. For one thing, I think the short-lived BATMAN ADVENTURES series (the final DCAU Batman series, which came out when JUSTICE LEAGUE did) might well be the very best Batman stuff to come out all decade. Who else would think that?
