The big question I had was "Where do you put it?" Because I have heard that, since the economic downturn, a lot of cities are more militant than even before about chasing RV parkers off their streets. It sounds like that's what happened to you guys in San Diego.

(I know there are camper parks where people park these things, but the daily fee ends up costing about as much as rent or more, so not much of a savings there. Still, years ago, I knew a couple that was living out of their RV and going across the country staying at parks and finding seasonal work in the areas. They seemed to be having a blast. I have always envied them.)

Next time you guys try this for the first time ever, don't do it in winter. :P
