Crappity crap crap

Well. I *WAS* hoping to come down to rehearsals (and subsequently home) Tuesday evening. But I go to my car, and guess what I find? My windshield shattered in a distinctly baseball-shaped smash.

So. I'll be marathon man tomorrow. 8am, going to public safety, seeing if I can't get the baseball team to agree to pay for the damages, try to get it replaced (there's a service that will drive up to the school and do it on the spot), and see if maybe, just maybe, I can make it down to O/A. In a matter of ten hours. Maybe.

So why am I awake writing this when I should be sleeping? Because... aside from that, my day was pretty nice. For other reasons.

No, I meant, the car is near the baseball field, and while I have no proof that my car was damaged during a game, I would hardly be the first windshield smashed by a ball in that area.
