I got the lead. In the play.

thehefnerIn "Good." I got the lead role. I've never gotten a lead role before (and no, I don't count "Joe Egg," because that was necessity, not by audition). I'm going to be on stage virtually the entire play. Just like I'll be doing with "Vigil." Which goes up a month afterwards.
From what I can tell this play is basically a rip of "Pennies from Heaven" and "Dancer in the Dark", i.e. a weak, flawed person who escapes reality by slipping into fantasy sequences of musical numbers. Which means I get to sing.
God in Heaven I'm anxious and nervous. What the hell have I gotten myself into here?
