I love wasting valuable time with these. Even if they do get me all nostalgic and cats_n_crying-y.

1)Post these rules and all the items below in your LJ
2)Bold or otherwise highlight the ones that you have already done.
3)Italicize the ones that you want to do but haven't yet.
4)Add to the bottom of the list some things that you have done that you think that everyone should try at least once.

-White water rafting - Seen "Deliverance"? I have.

-Camping at Pennsic - WTF?

-Running a LARP (Live Action Role Playing Game ) - Hmm... to be King of the Geeks... nnno, don't think I wanna do that...

-Playing in a LARP - With Paul D. and Dicechan, if that counts.

-Playing in a table top role playing game - Erm... does Monopoly Count? "I'm the top hat! I've given myself +5 swankiness!"

-Surfing - Heh heh, no.

-Attending a play party (a party with open sexual behaviors of some variety) - Maybe this doesn't really count. It didn't start out that way, and once it did I wasn't happy. Especially considering the company and what I saw. I'm horny enough that I'd go to a real one, but only if certain people aren't there. There are some people in your life you just don't want to see in certain... and I don't mean this necessarily sexually... positions, you know what I mean?

-Gothing up and going clubbing - Cue this as my "What the fuck is wrong with me?" moment this past summer.

-Having children - Maybe someday. Maybe.

-Reading your writing in public - They still talk about my slam-winning Green Lantern poem to this day here at WAC/

-Visiting Jamestown/Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia - Once, with my father. That was a good time.

-Having a threesome - it could only be with strangers. A one-night stand, maybe prositutes. Otherwise, I couldn't handle doing that with someone I loved, I'd just get too neurotic the second they stopped paying attention to me.

-Having a foursome - Hmm... in the words of Fierce Creatures' Kevin Kline: "Where does the third one go?"

-Riding a horse at a gallop - Nope.

-Reading the bible- Parts, yeah. It's a hell of a story. Luke (prodigal son) and Revelations are great. If I were stuck on a desert island, I think it'd be great to read the whole thing (it has to be a GOOD translation) cover to cover.

-Attending worship services- Not so much these days, as my particular Christianity doesn't really pertain to traditional dogma. Still, a good service is like hearing a wonderful story. There are times that I still think, for these reasons, that I'd like to become a priest of sorts.

-Giving blood- I didn't, and they say now that I've been abroad for a period of time that I'm not allowed to. Is that true?

Snorkeling in the Gulf of Mexico - Ooh, sounds good! I've been in Tortolla, but I don't think that counts.

Getting a one hour professional massage - Me wanna.

-Eating lobster in Maine - Ehh, I'm that one freak who doesn't like lobster. But then, maybe I've never really eaten it until I go to Maine.

-Attending a They Might Be Giants concert - Geek rock, I should really get into that.

-Going Trick-or-Treating as an adult, with no kids for an excuse - I went when I was 18, if you count that.

-Taken a road trip in a fun sports car - If you count a VW covered in mosaic tiles as a fun sports car.

-Going to Ireland - Absolutely amazing. I used to say I wanted to take Dice to go see it. I'd love to see her face when she sees the Cliffs of Moher.

-Going to an U2 Concert - Maybe I would, back in 1989...

-Watching the Moon Rise in the middle of the ocean - Never been at sea.

-Touring a German Concentration Camp - My morbid curiosity wants to, but I know I would regret it. And after "Good"... I'm not sure I dare.

-Taking a very long drive down a back country road at night - Mosty recently, with Shadowcaptain, on the way back from the beach.

-DMing- WTF, mate?

-Wilderness backpacking - Back... hurts. Feet... hurt. Woods... pretty. Ow.

-Going to Disney with loved ones - Even the Evil Empire has funnel cakes.

-Climb a mountain- If you count to Cocatin Mountains.

-Fought in plate armour against a steel sword - Hmm. Pointy.

-Lived in more than 2 different parts of the country- If you count DC and Maryland.

-Seen the Grand Canyon- With Edd.

-Tour the country of your ancestors- Been to England and Ireland. My Dad used to talk about taking me to Austria, and now I wish we had. It's never happen now.

-Fall madly in love - God damn it.

Move to a new state, for no other reason than because you've always wanted to live there -

-Drink a bottle of extremely good wine. - And I STILL think it tasted crappy.

-skinny dipping in the ocean -

-find something that fascinates you and learn about it/do it- but I've never had the discipline to keep it up.

-read a classic novel- Damn straight.

-grow/raise something then eat it - Gardening with my mother.

-practice at and compete at a high level in a sport - HA!

-Make a full 3 course meal from scratch - Rarely, but when I do... MWAH!

-Camping in Maine - These people have a Maine fetish.

-Swim with dolphins - Wouldn't be averse to it.

-Pet a penguin - Nor that.

-Receive an award in the SCA - WTF???

-Get up close to a killer whale- Heh heh, Willy.

-Go on a cruise -

-Sleep outside under the stars (not in a tent)

-Feed wild birds out of your hand -

-Compliment a total stranger - We should all do it more often.

-Adopt several animals from a shelter

-take a hot air balloon ride -

-visit another country - Not as much as I'd like.

-take a road trip with two or more friends - Only with Edd. I'd like to see what'd happen if I did a road trip with all the major women in my life: Christia, Annie, Nicola, Dice, and Misty, and let the hilarity ensue.

add money to an expired (or nearly so) parking meter for a stranger's car-

-watch a sunrise or sunset into/out of the ocean with someone you care about - Not over the ocean, just from the front seat of my car.

-visit a site that's sacred to a religion other than your own -

-hold a wombat -

-spend the night in a cave -

-Perform on stage before strangers -

-Ski in the alps - Hmm... I'd just wanna sled or tube.

-Have something you've written published - Oh "My Date With Marz Grrl," you continue to serve me well, ham-fistedly-edited as you were.

-Seen Tori Amos perform live - Maybe I should.

-Fired a gun - Oh the power. This must be what God feels like when HE'S holding a gun.

-Lived for a week in the woods - Thank you Waldorf.

-Rollercoaster Rides - I've lost my tolerance though, I dunno if I ever can again.

-Bungee Jumping/Xtreme Skyflier - Ehh... no. I might skydive someday with Edd or something.

-Get pierced - I'm so hesitant to change my personal apperance as it is, and besides, it's just be yet another thing.

-Tour an old city and/or museum

-Get hit by a car -

-Compose a piece of music and have someone else play/perform it in public - I have a very musical soul and a great ear for music, but no capabilities to create it.

-Visit the Library of Congress and actually get a card/check out a book-

-Change someone's life (for better or worse)- I really like to think that maybe, in long run, I helped Dicechan. Time will tell.

Correspond with a stranger - Ah, the fun of AIM. The creepy, creepy fun.

Have a houseguest from another country (whom you've never met in person) - A friend of Edd's, who later died in an airplane crash. I barely remember him.

Meet a childhood hero, and become their actual friend - How cool would that be?

Mistake a celebrity for someone you know. - What an odd question.

Ride a Motorcycle - FWUMP! Ow!

Cross the Canadian or Mexican Border - Oh, Canada.

Go on the Sydney Bridge Climb - That'd be sweet.

Go ballroom dancing with friends - Sometimes actually dancing, as on my 16th B-Day, or spazzing out, as with Alan and Rachel's wedding.

Make friends with deep inner- Inner what?

Dress up like mummies and play a song about dead Egyptians in a talent show and winning- That's a very specific question.

Get spit on by a llama- Another specific one.

MY ADDITIONS

Read a graphic novel- Seriously, I really think it's valuable for people to try to expose themselves to this wholly unique art form.

Seen both "The Passion of the Christ" and "Farenheit 9/11"- I think it's important that if anyone's even going to try to have an opinion on either, they must see both. These are the two most important films of 2004.

Seen two different productions of the same play- this applies easier with Shakespeare, but it's a good experience to see two totally different interpretations of the same work.

Done something extrordinarily romantic for somebody else- No matter how low I get, I know that I did something for someone that they will never forget.

Yeah, ever since you posted those lyrics, I checked out a couple tunes. A bit campy in that old school hair rock kind of way, but the beat is damn infectious. It appeals to the overdramatic Meat Loaf fan in me.

Damn stupid memes that keep me working for a half hour and make me all angsty.

Yeah, is it normal for the bishounin to employ roses? Angst and rose petals, is that the norm? 'Cause if so, well shit, that really is me, isn't it?

And yes, those memories would be all well and good, but until I get that closure I won't truly be able to look back at them fondly.

Yes, but really dear, would the world survive Heffie being an anime fan? The only reason I even have half the friends I do is because I don't talk about GL or comics to them, and it's hard enough when I say "Have you ever seen ______?" five times a day. Heffie as an anime fan... I think that's one of the signs of the apocolypse.

Right right, if I do cosplay, we've got to find my particular angsty character. Then fangirls will flock around me, and dicechan will get jealous and then another part of my ridiculously circuitous plan will be complete, mwa ha ha...

I think that world can handle Heffie the facko anime fan but not the hardcore one. And you are cosplaying for Otakon as Miroku, and Wolfwood and someone else I just don't know who yet, I am going to have to consult dice about it.

I'd be interested to hear who she thinks. Bear in mind, I am now think and sexy, so I can be a number of characters.

And as overdone as he is, dash it all I do empathize and identify with Vash. He's a sweet, wacky nutball, but inside he's sensitive, tender, hurting, and strongly idealistic.

Oh man, I need to get you into Farscape. Muppetty goodness. I *am* John Crichton, it's crazy.

I have watched farscape, please my mom and brother are addicted to it. And I must concur that you are Jon Crichton.

YES! SOMEONE ELSE HAS SEEN IT! AND YOU AGREE! YAY, I WAS RIGHT! I tell you, I didn't even realize it, but when I was playing that larp with you, Jaki, Dice, and Paul, I was totally being Crichton. That's who I'd have to be in any larp, otherwise I might go mad.

I've been trying to get peeps here converted to that show, I love it so. One of the few non-cartoon TV shows I watch these days. If only I could cosplay as him... maybe as Scorpy. I'd be hot all scarred and leathery. No, really, I'd be sweating my balls off in that suit. But I'd look badass doing it.

Dear God, I just totally geek out around you. Bad Heffie. Bad Bishounin.
