WHO... WILL... WIN?
Jan. 12th, 2005 10:19 pmInspired by
777666's Penny Arcade LJ icon, and from the minds of
cats_n_crying and
fiveseconddelay comes a battle of epic proportions. The Trojans lost the war. NOW THEY'RE PISSED. Yes, in the great geek pastime of "Who would win in a battle between..." comes...

I really wish I had/knew how to use photoshop, so my lowly paint program had to do for now. Yeah, I know, I'm ghetto. And the damn jpeg format muddled up the lettering, I should have saved as another format, but ah well, the idea is conveyed, I think.
But yeah, seriously. Who would win? It's Greeks vs. Trojans- THE REVENGE!

2. Hulk am stupid and easily distracted by shiny things, plus lector's a master of psychology, he'd calm banner down.
3. Sabretooth has no qualms and would kill Lawrence and Julie with out thinking twice.
4. Monks a big pissed of irish guy with a club, no one can beat a big pissed off irish guy with a club.

That said, destroy the bow and I don't think Legolas has much to offer other than his dazzling looks, which means jack squat to the Greeks.
And I second that one about Monk. You're one of the only people who knows who he is, and you know how much of a badass he is, even without the club.

Date: 2005-01-13 06:06 am (UTC)I have to go with Lawrence, Hulk, Legolas, and Julie, because of the fact that I love legolas and if he were real I would marry him, because half of the women in the world would be dead!
Oh by the way I love you cause you made this......I just thought that I should reaffirm what should already be known. Anyway that is my two cents have a nice day.

Date: 2005-01-13 04:27 pm (UTC)p.s. Sharpe would destroy them all with his mantastic 95th Rifles charm.

Date: 2005-01-13 09:16 pm (UTC)BTW, when considering Sharpe, I was also considering instead using Agent 006 or Macbeth. I think I made the right decision, but still, it would have been intriguing either way.
BWAH-HAH-HAH!!!
Date: 2005-01-13 06:23 pm (UTC)Wow... Hard choice. But I would bet on The Trojans as they have the Hulk. And are all the Good Guys. Ones that always won, btw. Except for a Shining Good Guy in Sharpe, the rest are not so good or down right evil and, no matter their coolness factor, they did lose. Hannible - Captured. Sabertooth - beaten and captured. Tyler Durtan - lost and eradicated.
See. They are losers. And the Trojans have the Hulk. No body beats the Hulk.

Date: 2005-01-13 10:18 pm (UTC)As for Lecter, yes, he was captured intially, but eventually escaped and still has not been recaptured. The only reason he was caught was because he was caught by Will Graham, who was able to get into Lecter's mind and think he way he thinks.
And also, as surrealname before mentioned, Lecter's a master of psychology. If seeing Betty can calm the Hulk down, even turn him back into Banner, Lecter's scary brilliance just might be able to talk Hulk down. Bear in mind, in a battle of wits between Hulk and Lecter, who'd you think is gonna win?
Oh, and I don't know if you've seen Gangs of New York, but Monk is a good guy. A good guy with lots of blood on his hands, but a good guy.

Date: 2005-01-13 10:17 pm (UTC)BTW, I'll be making a visit to WAC in the relatively near future. I expect you'll be joining me for a drink or two at Andy's while I'm in town?

Date: 2005-01-13 10:30 pm (UTC)Precisely. Dear Dr. Lecter is the Prince of whom Machiavelli wrote, if you ask me. A bit more sadistic, a bit more deviant perhaps, but he embodies Machiavellianism so nicely, don't you think?
Besides, I'm rather partial to Lecter since he (theoretically) scored the same way on the Myers-Briggs personality test that I do. Us INTJ's have got to stick together! And Cox plays him so elegeantly. . . his Lecter is so much more subtle and refined than Hopkins' slightly smug villan. That isn't to say I don't like Tony's work. He's smashing in Silence. But given the choice, I'd have to say Cox is far more dapper than Hopkins.
And I'll hunt you down when I hit campus. I'll hopefully be down within the next month.
