At 318 pages, the first draft of my novel is complete. For real, this time. The draft of the novel as I actually want to see printed. 318 pages, double-spaced. Finished.

Now comes the fun part.

This is the first draft, which I just now turned in to my thesis advisor, literally hot off the presses. He's gonna scour over it this weekend (the man is a machine) and then the revision process will begin. The final draft will be due sometime in April, around which point, if there's no further revisions to be made, I shall begin the publisher-shopping game. If I feel brave enough, then yes, I'd be honored for peeps to read it.

Although there's a part of me that'd like people to read it when it actually gets published, but again, a novel like this (I mean, I think it took almost an entire packet of paper to print this bad boy out) I dunno how attractive a first novel it will be to publishers.

Oh, thank you! I've got a friend in a reasonably high place who has offered, time and again, to help me find a literary agent. But yeah, it's really good to know that I have wonderful friends who are willing to give me a hand. Much appreciated and I'll keep it well in mind in these coming months!
