Got my novel back from Prof. Day. He only had one major suggestion, and otherwise he said I'm 90% ready to go. Huzzah! As for the story itself, he said, "Well, it is what it is. It's a fast-paced Detective type of thing. Is it a warm novel? No. Is it The Sun Also Rises? No. But it's..." and from there sort of dissolved into typical Bob Day mumblings. So I'm gonna get on that and hopefully not long after break we'll have a near-ready novel!

And tonight, to celebrate both the completion of my thesis (except for the little matter of writing the bad boy) and my birthday, the drama seniors are gonna take me drinking. Good times.

I'd like it for this, if we could. Saturday evening? Sunday? Lemme know what works. You know I'm always good for bringing odd and off-kilter DVDs (I wonder, have you ever seen "My First Mister"? It may be right up your alley) or going to see a film. If you want to get a party-party thing, check with Jaki. Maybe we can do something.

if i dont manage to get to Jaki's play in DC tomorrow night, maybe we can get together and go do that.. i didnt even know about it until now.

she just hit me back and wants me to hit the show, then go for drinks. that would mean several of us right there.. Rachel, Ty, Sarah and who knows who else.

plus you and i can hang out some more if you are going to be in town for a few days. you bring Sin City and i'll get them read as fast as i can so i can get them back to you.

the only problem is that i have no car anymore.

I can drive and was thinking about seeing the show... usually I'd see Rudes shows on Saturday nights, since they have cast parties then. If you'd like to do Friday, that might be doable, but it's be close since I'm driving down at 3:00, which'd get me to my Cabin John home at around 5ish. So what do you think? And would you be reliant on me for a ride? And if possible, would Saturday work as well?
