I'm listening to Danny Elfman's theme from RED DRAGON. Is it just me, or does the majority of his film work sound like the most evil Christmas ever?

I haven't heard this particular soundtrack, but ever since I saw Nightmare Before Christmas, any time I hear a Danny Elfman track I think of creepy holidays.

Look at everything from this one, Batman, Batman Returns, Edward Scissorhands, and the Oingo Boingo song "Insanity." I'm sure there's more, but those're what come to mind.

It used to feel that way for me, up through his music for Batman Returns. And especially Edward Scissorhands.

Lately, however, especially with Spider-Man and Spider-Man II, I've noticed he's branching out a bit more, stylistically.

For a new Danny Elfman experience, check out the score of Hulk. Though with your icon, I guess you might have seen the movie? If so, what did you think of it?-I think I'm the only person that thought it was one of the three best comic book movies ever heh.
