Finished. It's over. Exams are out of the way. I just turned both my theses into the library. Graduation is in little more than a week. I'm done. I've also been informed of a little bit of exciting news that I can't reveal just yet, but all in due time. I did it. I feel kinda numb. Kinda aimless. Kinda happy. I don't even know.

Date: 2005-05-12 08:41 pm (UTC)I received all kinds of words of wisdom upon leaving college six years ago.

Good luck with the transition. We are all pulling for you.

Date: 2005-05-13 03:14 pm (UTC)I still miss school (especially at 6:10 a.m. when I'm getting up to go to work) and having my friends all within walking distance. I even miss the dining hall some days. But post-college life is a fun little adventure full of quests and journeys and new friends and new accomplishments. It may seem mundane and ordinary, but there is satisfaction of such great magnitude to be found in something as simple as buying your first car or making your first rent payment and knowing that you earned that money.
