I can be a damn fool ass sometimes.

As great and effective a way to vent angst as LJ is, it's also been the cause of even more drama sometimes. I've even lost friends over stuff exchanged over here. I don't want that to happen again. I just want everything to be ok again. That's all I have ever wanted in my life.

I'm sorry.

Everyone makes mistakes. In the long run, none of this will matter much. I know you know that, and it doesn't take the sting out of the present, but this too shall pass. Remember you have friends who truly care about you.

ho boy, have I ever started some doosies on this thing. LJ can be quite evil and it can make ya feel like shit when things get taken wrong, out of context, or things get slipped that should've been kept private. even worse is when things get taken exactly how you mean them; cause oftentimes the simple act of posting about being angry or something causes you to get over it, like good venting should. And then you're no longer angry but things you said in a moment are still out there in cyber space and people have read them and you can't take them back... it all sucks so very much. the drama ensues. but we all say things we didn't mean to on lj, and we've all had people react differently to things we've said than we'd expected. It's something we've all come to accept, i think. It sucks but most people that have been on lj for any amount of time know exactly what you're going through, if that's any comfort.

This is why I tend to be extremely careful about what gets into any journal I write. If it's in writing, and I wrote it, it's something I would say in a room with everyone involved. Even if I'm talking about someone, it's stuff I would say to that person, in person.

I -do- have a few private entries, but they tend to be admin stuff no one would care about, like links to things for my personal reference that I don't want to bother dressing up for public consumption.
