So, I'm thinking of throwing a huge welcome-me-back party at my place on the first weekend of October, specifically October 3rd. Is there anyone who can't make that? Conversely, is there anyone who can but won't come because they think I smell or something?
Either way, I plan to make grog. Or rather, to make falernum to make grog. Or rather, try, best as I can approximate from Piratz Tavern's ingredients: light rum, dark rum, gold rum, falernum, and triple sec (or, if I'm feeling really confident, Cointreau). It promises to be an experience. Also, there'll be a pool and a hot tub.
My post-tour month home shall prove to be most eventful, what with the Small press Expo on September 26th (dig the Kate Beaton-designed banners!) and Baltimore Comic Con on October 10th. I may finally try and get more Harvey Dent related drawings at the latter, if I can sum up the guts to do the whole "long description proposal" thing like I did with Rags Morales, god, wouldn't it be awesome if I could get another drawing like that one of Gilda? Oh, and on Halloween, Dethklok is playing at the Patriot Center, shit, I still need to get tickets!
But yeah, no point thinking too far ahead about things. On Wednesday, I hit the road for Indianapolis Fringe, and then it's off to Vancouver Fringe. We're almost to the home stretch, folks. What a year. Hopefully, y'all will be able to help me put it to rest in style upon my return.
