Yes, considering that the only commercials I've seen for it have been on Nickelodeon when I'm watching Fairly Oddparents while I'm on the treadmill at the gym (because Fairly Oddparents make the pain go away. Just like brains.), well, I don't suppose most people here are even considering seeing it. After all, it seems to be marketed to the Spy Kids/Cody Banks crowd. Usually the sort of movie that people like us tend to avoid like the plague and pretend that we wouldn't watch if we weren't that age. However, SKY HIGH looks different. Allow me to reiterate:

Kurt Russell as the Dad/Superman figure. Bruce Campbell as the hardass R. Lee Ermey superhero coach. Lynda Carter as the principal. Patrick Warburton as the main villain. And two Kids In The Hall- Kevin MacDonald with a huuuuge brain and Dave Foley as a former sidekick named... wait for it... "Mr. Boy."

This movie must be seen. Must must must. These days, I could really give a thrupenny fuck about a new Johnny Depp movie. THIS HAS ASH, SNAKE PLISSKEN, WONDER WOMAN, THE TICK, THE TALLEST PURPLE, AND... uh, well, DAVE FOLEY!!! Isn't there anyone else psyched about this?!

I suppose I'll have to see it in Seattle. Oh yes, for those who don't already know, I'll be in Seattle 'till the 8th, since I'll be the Best Man at my brother's wedding. I still have to write the damn speech where I'm not bitter that they found true love and stuff ;p

OMG, I wanna see that movie SO BAD. SO FUCKING BAD. I have been talking about it since I first saw the preview for it before Bewitched (that preview was the only good part of that movie). Mary and I are determined to see it. I think we are one of the very few who are...

It comes out tomorrow, right?

Actually, SkyHigh is on my list just because of the adult cast, as in each and every one of them. It's not an opening weekend movie for me, but I'll be seeing it.

And you should totally imitate the Peter Cook character from Princess Bride for the toast... it would be right ONLY if delivered by YOU. Mawwiage, mawwiage is what bwings us toghevar today... Twue wuv...

Sorry, I was for some foolish reason blanking on Kids characters and I was anxious to post. Forgive me, o wise one who remembers the funny.

Great googly moogly. I finally read a review for this movie. Review described it as surprisingly good - surprisingly very good.

May have to see this soon, yup.
