can't sleep. angst will eat me. must do dorky photo manips to preserve sanity.

After about an hour of tossing and turning, I realized I had a choice. Either I stay in bed, completely awake, and ruminate for the next couple of hours on she whom I should not be thinking about at all... or I get up and be productive until my body finally decides it's ready to shut down. So I got up.

Now, my original intention was to work on The Hefner Monologues, and I started to... until, at the suggestion of tomperdue (thanks!!!), I downloaded Mr. Captor so I may be able to take DVD screenshots. And lo and behold, it worked. Not only was I able to finally create my Doctor Octopus "If I Were A Rich Man" icon! It worked about as well as I could have hoped. Ideally, I'd prefer an animated icon in the style of shadowcaptain's evil undead pirate monkey with clothes, but hey, I think this works!

Of course, this wasn't the only thing I worked on. As I was finally able to do DVD caps, I... well...



I call it, "Best Friends Forever!" I made it into an icon. I know that one day, there will be fangirls writing Johnny Go and Bub OTP. And then I will feel a magical mixture of horror and flattery. I shall call it "flathorrery."



Imagine the scene. A vicious gang of Clancers have invaded the bar, started pushing everyone around, put Elvis on the jukebox, and told Bub that his mother wore combat boots. Oh yeah. Johnny Go and Bub are pissed.

This last one isn't a manip, but a straight Bub picture for ortugatay, Mistress of the Hippie Bed.

And finally, I feel drowsy. Take 2, hopefully will do better.

My god, the cuteness is almost overwhelming. Maybe you and Mel can be in the book somewhere. You guys are too cute to have died during the zombie apocalypse.
