So last night I dreamt that I was the only human in a world overrun by zombies. Except that these zombies weren't slow, shambling, or stupid. They were as intelligent and normal-moving as anyone. In this world, I guess the zombie apocalypse happened, until everyone was a zombie and without any more humans to eat they just decided to go back to their lives as normal. Raising families, having jobs, etc. None of them were rotting either, really. Aside from a few cuts or bruises, the looked and acted perfectly normal. I met a few, hung out with them, even flirted with a few pretty girls. I waded through the society of zombie people while Oingo Boingo's "Dead Man's Party" played in the background. You almost couldn't tell that anything was off.

But I was very careful and afraid of them nonetheless. Because I knew that if they discovered my true nature, if they learned that I was still alive and not one of them, they would tear me to shreds and eat me.

If I had a shrink, he'd probably have a field day with that one.

Then you are a special person indeed. And that's a good thing.

Oh I've had dreams where I went to a giant puppet museum, then went in through a door onto a giant restraunt that was like a disneyworld ride antarctica style, and then there was a giant screen with a man covered in fur and a white suit and he knew things about us that we could only imagine.

"Duuuuuuude" is the only response I have for that. That's, like... zen, man.

And who/what is that in your icon?

The person is Krystian Sawicki. The character is the Titan. He's from a show called La Nouba. It's a permanent Cirque du Soleil show in Orlando.

Gotcha. Wow, I haven't seen a Cirque du Soleil show in ten bloody years.

The whole zombie thing...

is one of your more interesting quirks.
The good sleeping weather that mother nature has been providing the area seems to be causing wierd dreams for everyone.
PS Please don't forget to remind me about Closer.

You speak like it's an unusual affliction ;)

Yeah, I think you're totally onto something there about the weather.

Rest assured, I shall keep this journal updated with Closer info as we inch toward November.

I've seen Alegria, La Nouba, and Varekai live. I own Dralion, Quidam, and Varekai. When Corteo comes around I'll be seeing that too. I have a Cirque du Soleil obsession if you haven't figured this out by now. ^^;

That's very cool. I really need to see them again! Man, it's been so long. We used to listen to Cirque music in the theatre work shop back at college. Ah, mem'ries.

I own the soundtracks to Varekai, Quidam, and La Nouvelle Experiance. And I simply <3 you for loving the music!

It's great music. I'd also like to point another album your way in that case. When I went to London they had this big Worlds Fair type dealie, "The Dome." It was this huge arty pretentious world peace type attraction, but I went for one reason and one reason only- the cirque rip-off type show, OVO. Not because I wanted to see it, but because the whole show featured brand new music by Peter Gabriel, whom I deeply adore. It was really the only good part of the show, and the album is currently availible. It might be worth your while to give it a listen, mayhaps. Or mayhaps not. Just offering that one out there.
