So last night I dreamt that I was the only human in a world overrun by zombies. Except that these zombies weren't slow, shambling, or stupid. They were as intelligent and normal-moving as anyone. In this world, I guess the zombie apocalypse happened, until everyone was a zombie and without any more humans to eat they just decided to go back to their lives as normal. Raising families, having jobs, etc. None of them were rotting either, really. Aside from a few cuts or bruises, the looked and acted perfectly normal. I met a few, hung out with them, even flirted with a few pretty girls. I waded through the society of zombie people while Oingo Boingo's "Dead Man's Party" played in the background. You almost couldn't tell that anything was off.

But I was very careful and afraid of them nonetheless. Because I knew that if they discovered my true nature, if they learned that I was still alive and not one of them, they would tear me to shreds and eat me.

If I had a shrink, he'd probably have a field day with that one.

It's great music. I'd also like to point another album your way in that case. When I went to London they had this big Worlds Fair type dealie, "The Dome." It was this huge arty pretentious world peace type attraction, but I went for one reason and one reason only- the cirque rip-off type show, OVO. Not because I wanted to see it, but because the whole show featured brand new music by Peter Gabriel, whom I deeply adore. It was really the only good part of the show, and the album is currently availible. It might be worth your while to give it a listen, mayhaps. Or mayhaps not. Just offering that one out there.
