1948-2005

You might remember him from ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, AMADEUS, FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH, BATMAN RETURNS, BETTER OFF DEAD, BUCKAROO BANZAI, or one of the greatest X-Files episodes, "Humbug."



Talk about one of the true "Oh, that guy!" actors.

You forgot "Ghost" -- possibly intentionally, as I know how you feel about "those kinds of movies," lest we forget this guy played the spook that scared the poop out of Swayze's afterlife -- a big plus -- and taught him the ropes of ghostness.

What kind of movies would those be? I haven't seen Ghost in about ten years, but I rather liked it. And yeah, he was totally in that, I'd forgotten.

I thought you hated most cheesy commercial films, and assumed Ghost probably fits that bill...

(My in-seventh-grade self thought it was pretty cool but I can't say I can objectively comment on it now.)

Yeah, I just showed Molly Cuckoo's Nest recently. One of my friends was remarking how people are eulogizing him as the "creepy looking guy", but hey, it's better to be remembered as creepy looking that not remembered at all.
