Good lord, I love the show HUFF. Hank Azaria, Oliver Platt, and Blythe Danner, so damn good. The only thing I don't like is the wife, who I strongly get the feeling is written to be a sympathetic character, and not a selfish, stubborn, miserable, humorless bitch. Seriously, this is the kind of woman I'm afraid of, someone who doesn't have a shred of a sense of irony. But yeah, her aside, I frickin' love this show so much. Oliver Platt is an ugly, ugly joy to watch.
Also, I seriously love SLINGS & ARROWS. But of course, why wouldn't I love a Canadian show about a misfit band of Shakesperian actors (is there any other kind?)? I cannot wait for the DVDs.
This is about the only TV I manage to watch. Somehow I miss out on LOST, SOPRANOS, MY NAME IS EARL, both versions of THE OFFICE, SCRUBS, and BOSTON LEGAL, and yet I somehow do everything I can to watch things like HUFF, SLINGS & ARROWS, and JUSTICE LEAGUE, shows that it seems, at best, only two of my friends also watch.
Ooh, I need to get OZ season five too. Just to see how the Itchy and Scratchy relationship between Beecher and Schillinger turns out, heh heh.

Date: 2006-04-12 11:15 pm (UTC)I've heard good things about Huff. I take it the wife is played by Paget Brewster, who I've tended to like. She's fun to watch when she's acting loony, which she got many opportunities for on Andy Richter.
