dilated to meet you
Apr. 20th, 2006 10:09 pm(the title above is from a song by Loudon Wainwright III, who I WON'T be able to see because of the play!! POOP.)
I'm wearing sunglasses all the time like a damn vampire, like Cassidy from PREACHER. And with half my vision completely blurry, I kinda wish I had an eye patch. It would certainly make reading easier.
Maybe I should just go all James Joyce and blacken out a lens on a pair of glasses. Or was that James Thurber? Some famous half-blind author named James. No, even better! I need a monocle! YES!
The new play I'm in, THE DAVID DANCE, is an interesting experience. We started this week and go up in a month, so we're rehearsing virtually every day. I feel like I'm back at college, where everyone seems to think plays cannot have more than five weeks rehearsal. I'm playing a nice, smart, well-adjusted gay AV geek who works at Radio Shack.
I think tomorrow I'm gonna get to work on the fourth and final story in the Tammy saga.
