The good news? Dad's offered to pay the $40 fee for rescheduling the GREs, so I can take it hopefully around the end of July or the start of August thereabouts.

The bad news? The website it broken and thus I cannot reschedule before the "no later than 3 days before your test" period specified on the other website. And the 24-hour hotline automated thingie can allow me to anything *except* reschedule, so I gotta wait till normal work hours.

Are they not gonna let me reschedule tomorrow? Will I be sucked out of $110 bucks just because their website is broken? We'll find out. What fun this shall be!

This is all proving to be way more stressful than it should be. Signing up for Tai Chi is looking increasingly attractive, once they offer up classes again.

What's "broken" about the web site? Error messages? Not responding?

If you can, save off a copy of the page so that when you call them you can say, "Look, it was busted."

By "broken" I meant "we're sorry, but this page is currently unavailable. We're sorry for any inconvenience."

And wouldn't you know it. Now the site is up again, and they say it's too late to reschedule. Which means I either take the test Wednesday with very, very little preparation or I'm out $110.

The icon has never been more appropriate.

Phone them tomorrow, and tell them the web site was out of order. See if it helps. It can't hurt.
