Pop Go The Stitches!

thehefnerSo the bad news is that the stitches have popped, and it's 3:22 in the morning and on a weekend no less, so it's impossible to call my doctor.
The good news is that the wound is still holding shut. More likely, I probably have internal stitches, and they're still holding the nearly-three-day-old wound together.
If it can hold through the night and not wake up with an open wound in my mouth, the next trick will be trying to eat. Assuming I can't get in touch with the doctor. Isn't there some kind of oral liquid stitches stuff I could apply?
I probably shouldn't have watched KISS KISS, BANG BANG. There was simply no way to avoid smiling with that. Then again, they might just as easily have been popped when I brushed my teeth.
Now I really do wish I had an icon of Lavinia from TITUS for this.
