Scans of the latest Vanity Fair photo issue, Film Noir style

I'm posting this here not just because it's a total blast, and a gorgeous one at that thanks to Miss Leibovitz (not to mention that I am a complete and total sucker for all things noir)... but because that single image of Aaron Eckhart has, like, filled me with soooooooo much more confidence. Damn, ok, yeah, I could see him as Harvey Dent right there. At this point, I'm sure seeing THANK YOU FOR SMOKING will only assure me further.

(Also, anyone else think Peter O'Toole looks like a drunken Andrew Jackson?)

Actually, really seriously, Jackson was one of the toughest presidents we've ever had, we're all lucky if we manage to to even a fraction of what either Jackson or O'Toole has managed.

Except for the drunken part, the resemblance in the hairstyle and jawline (the acsot doesn't hurt either) is kinda uncanny. I'm thinking they oughta make that movie about his (Jackson's) time spent in Nawlins about now.

Oh, I know about Jackson's toughness. Didn't he beat a failed assassin with a cane on the steps of the Capitol or something?

Oh man, I would definitely pay good money to see that movie. Done right, that's be another Oscar nod for him right there.
