Empire Day, the day when we try to remember the names of all those from the Sudbury area so gallantly gave their lives to keep China British? You wish!

Next Friday sees the very first performance of THE HEFNER MONOLOGUES, as part of The Capital Fringe Festival!

"How do you make a name for yourself… when someone else already has?" That's the question that John Hefner (estranged cousin of a certain international icon) explores through painfully funny stories about love, loss, nudity, traffic court, and finding an identity in a world where "Hef" is a household name.



THE HEFNER MONOLOGUES is an hour-long show playing at the Warehouse Theatre-- The Colosseum on the following dates:

you can pick them up at the box office on Monday July 16th. They will get you into Fringe shows for $10 instead of $15.

I really really really hope pondering_duck will be able to get the equipment to do it, but he doesn't know. Not just for YouTube, but because I want to have demo tapes ready for my Hefner Monologues packages that I'd send to theatres and other venues.

If you can make it, you know I'd love having you there. If not, don't sweat it; you can just help me find a venue in Chicago when the time comes!

There was going to be, but not anymore. The other version was just impossible to tell in an hour. Thankfully, the one I *do* have is the better introduction, a bit "safer" in the material, and all around darn good too.
