Question, o theatre peeps:

Would it be unwise to try to stage performances of THE HEFNER MONOLOGUES in November? We're thinking DC and/or Baltimore. Are we already in theatrical off-season by that point? Should we hold off until late January/early February, like the Rudes do? Or even later, to spring?

I don't want to dilly-dally continuing the show, of course. But I don't want to rush into a Winter dead season like a theatrical arms-flailing Napoleon.

If you do it in January/February, you run into possibly conflicting with people in the Winter production not being able to come see you. (Okay, this time it's a small show, so maybe 15 of us, but you get the idea.)

November isn't the dead season, it really isn't. I'd say go for it if you're ready.

Flail away.

Cool, that's one vote for November. Unless I get a dashedly compelling argument otherwise, then for November I shall shoot.

I'll need a warm-up, but I dare say I'm ready to keep the show developin', and the only way to do that is with an audience.

PS - NOT November 24th, btw. I have... plans.
