So hey, aren't I throwing a Halloween party next Saturday the 27th? I'm fairly certain I am.

If you're interested in a Halloween party at Chez Heffie this Saturday, let me know. I need a rough headcount.

I'm considering pushing it to the next Saturday, but really, can one throw a Halloween party after Halloween?



In other news, I hate hate hate the timed speed levels of GOD OF WAR. Right now, I'm stuck on that damn level in the Cliffs of Madness where I have to push a block up to a ledge as a stepping stone before times runs out and spears pop out through the floor. I've gone through it twenty times. HOW THE HELL DO I JUMP ON THAT LEDGE?! Damn it, I just wanna slay mythological beasts, not push crap and die!

But I suppose levels like this are good, in that I get so fed up that I must give up and go do some real work.

-wish I could help with GoW, but I haven't even played ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN in a year...couldn't beat Human Torch in the first challenge (a race!), and my frustration made me go "well, maybe later."

the first was climbing up those pillars with the spikes on them. ow.

i don't remember how i did it, though it involved powerpushing the blocks just right a few times (as in, doing the push where you hold the button down, let go, and then the block goes flying in one direction a ways). been too long.. i don't remember how i did it, but i surely remember the pain.

I just beat the game, so yes, I agree about those pillars. I mean, I thought it was pillar, singular. And then just when I finally got to the top, I turn to the right and went "Oh godDAMNit!!!"

Finished GoW, and I look forward to borrowing the sequel. I just discovered that Harry Hamlin reprises his role from CLASH OF THE TITANS! Awesome!
