By the way, it's worth noting that Bloo and I bought the smoking jacket together when I first visited her out in Chicago, but this is one of the only, the only times that you'd actually catch me wearing it. It's a little too on-the-nose everywhere else, but here, I think it strikes just the right chord.

Do we? Polo socks and all? Let me tell you, I had the DAMNDEST hard time trying to track down fanciful socks of some kind. I went to Hot Topic, Torrid, Icing, Glazing, Sprinkles, whatever the fuck they're called, but only when I go to fucking Macy's and hit up the men's sock department do I actually find these... and they're glorious.

But just wait for part three. And yet again, I apologize in advance. I really feel I can't do that enough.

I meant from the other set, but I'm too lazy to comment in both threads, so I figured I'd comment in one place.

I'm actually being genuine-- which is weird because I can't not talk in sarcasm most of the time.

And yeah. Mine are from J.Crew but they're same shade of argyle. I've got one blue and one green one, since I left one behind at her place last time we had a sleepover (ooh la la) so now we both mis-matchy socks.

Same polo socks. That's fucking hilarious, that is. I actually almost went for the hot-pink-colored ones (what men at Macy's sock's department would seriously buy hot pink argyle polo socks like that? Straight men, I mean), but when I saw the green, ohhhhh, I knew there was nothing else. Especially for what I had planned in the next set. They're Malvolio socks and everything!

I could totally see how mismatching them would work. If I could pull that off, I would so try it.

The short answer is fun. Slightly longer answer is that Bloo was only coming down for the one day, for the sole purpose of seeing THE DARK KNIGHT with me (and she was always my number one choice for that), so we figured why not make the most of the day and redo (and revise!) our Joker/Harley costumes from back in 2006? We've been planning this'un for several months now.
