Novel is on draft four, currently! I'm currently trying to tighten the prose, because I am long-winded and this is a big book anyway. All the more reason why it getting accepted by DC is a seriously long shot, but when it's ready, when I'm absolutely sure the book is as good as it's gonna get or when I finally feel like I've achieved my biggest goals, you bet I'm gonna pitch it to DC.
Between their reluctance for prose (unless your name is Grant Morrison), the fact that TWO-FACE YEAR ONE just came out, my unknown status and the fact that it's a big fucking book, my chances are damn slim. But I'm too proud of this even now not to try. It gets better with every revision, and it was pretty damn good to start with, if I dare say so myself (and I don't; I have wallop-ready editors who would tell me if it were otherwise).
I was gonna submit the book a year before the new Nolan film, back when everyone thought Two-Face would continue as the main villain, but now... well, I'm just gonna see, I guess.
