By the way, pomade seemed like a brilliant idea at the time. And while it was quite effective, that shit is not only incredibly nasty, but it does not flatter my already-thin top. I'm not posting the pictures where you can pretty well see my entire upper scalp. We'll be getting there someday, damn it, but not today.

Today is about snazziness. And greasy hair.


















If there are more pictures of me than angrylemur here, the simple reason is that I'm a much bigger ham. Seriously, though, what a way to end a wonderful week together.



Speaking of photos, man, dhairya, we're gonna need to do the new versions of the Two-Face and Typhoid Mary while I still have enough hair. Otherwise, we're gonna need to fashion half a toupee for the good side. Which actually might be effective, if done well.

Like the purple-yellow-and-green-ribbons vest which I bought for the Joker costume, the purple vest shall likely not be used for much anything else outside of these costumes, both a bit too much on the overtly-gay side were I to wear them. But they were simply perfect for these costumes, so I made the sacrifice.

That said, I did hold off from buying purple leather gloves. I am on something of a budget, after all. :)

Bah, this purple Riddler-vest is wonderful and not at all gay. I'd wear it out to a non-costume-related event. You should too. (I was going to say it's a fabulous vest, but I realized I'd probably undermine my own argument.) Then again, I wear pink shirts and red argyle socks (not at the same time) so I guess I have different opinions on these things.

You're really working your way through Bats' rogues gallery. Any ideas on who you're going to tackle next? Ra's? Freeze? Mad Hatter? Egghead? King Tut?

I'm already able to grow the white pointy wing temples of Ra's, so if I can find a good idea, he's a definitely possibility. Lord knows if I'll ever be able to grow the awesome facial hair, but you can bet I'll try. I don't think I'll have a Talia, as that could be creepy. Poison Ivy could be ideal, however; two hot eco-terrorists in love!

I've considered Mr. Freeze as well, but most any ideas that come up would be far too expensive and labor intensive.

Beyond them, I have no ideas when it comes to the Bat-rogues. That said, my next big plan is Blue Beetle and Booster Gold with the Birds of Prey, by way of the 60's/70's. Mix some mod, steampunk, disco, grindhouse, exploitation, kung-fu, and Doctor Who all up in there. That was gonna be this year, but it's too much work.
