Photos: Vegas, palles (Day 2: Red Rock Canyon)

In my trusty guidebook, THE UNDERGROUND GUIDE TO LAS VEGAS, they recommended three "must-see" outdoor sights just outside of Vegas. I only had time for one, thus missing out on Mount Charleston and Valley of Fire State Park (which the guide recommended as an ideal place to "pull a Jim Morrison and just trip among the already-psychedelic sandstone shapes and rock formations"). Maybe next year.

No stories here. No smart-ass comments. Just pretty pictures of an awesome place from someone too wimpy and cold to even do one of the "easy" hiking trails.

Wow, beautiful landscapes. Makes me jealous. I need to travel more. I totally fail at it. The furthest out west I've ever been is Texas. Woe is me.

Also, am I just wanting that sticker on your jacket to be what I think it is or is that indeed a Harvey Dent sticker (it seems that lately, blue and red things automatically register as Dent in my mind, pardon me)?

You bet it is! I got it from the Dentmobile that came by my town! I was thoroughly delighted by the amount of people who noticed it and commented!

Ooh, didja finish the book yet, by chance?

Oh yes, I did. The ending was an epic rainbow of crazy fun.

I should probably write up a giant old feedback thinger-majig for you when I have time. Overall, I really enjoyed it though. Great work.
