...and then I got invited to officiate a friend's wedding up in NY.

Sadly, I can't be in two places at once (yet), so have a rippin' good time and tell stories about it. I'll live vicariously through those and imagine I was in two places at once, later. ;)

Let me tell you about last minute: I just finally heard from the bride to be on Thursday. And that was just to confirm that, yes, indeed, they do want me to perform the ceremony.

As of right now, I know nothing about the groom (other than that he's a bus mechanic) and absolutely nothing about the rest of the plans for the wedding/reception.

I have an odd feeling I'll be flexing my improv bone for this ceremony...
