Well, I've been putting the photo posts off for awhile, I might as well do another, since that takes more busywork than mental effort. So here, enjoy this pictorial of Heffie and the Henchgirl beholding the wonder and glory that is... CARHENGE.

























If I had the dedication, I would have posed next to that one dressed in my best Michael Gross "Burt Gummer" costume.

After that, we passed through the small near-ghost-town of Fort Laramie, where Henchgirl insisted we stop, take photos, and wander around. Against my better judgment, I went along with it.



Seriously, that sign looks like it was made by the Sawyer family from TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE.

BRRR! Towns like that scare the crap out of me. I got stuck in Cleveland, Tennessee once and I don't think I've ever recovered. ;)

That said, can I steal one of your nobody-in-it pics of Carhenge for my blog? That's unbelievable and so VERY post-Detroit, y'know?

In Cleveland, streets were empty as all the cars *in the entire town* were parked in front of the church (it was Sunday, early afternoon), like, on the lawns and blocking the street and everything. All the businesses were closed, including gas stationt, except for the HOLISTIC FAITH-HEALING APPLIANCE REPAIR SHOP.

Ggguuhh scary.
