Or maybe you skimmed past the entry, but today, it's worth repeating.

I've always sympathized with Daffy in those cartoons,* particularly in Canadian Fringes (even when you guys like me, which is most of the time, you're still so darn quiet!), but never so drainingly as here in Hamilton. Just one more show tomorrow evening, then I collect my pittance, choke back five Red Bulls, and high-tail it to Kalamazoo.

Up next is Kansas City, MO. Oh thank god: boisterous, loudmouthed, midwest American audiences, how we miss you!

I suppose I always likes Bugs and wanted to be like him because he did make it look effortless, and that's really the ultimate thing, isn't it? For it to look easy?

Off to my last Fringe right after I submit this.

We've had 3 smaller-than-the-cast crowds, 1 bigger-but-oppressed-by-the-heat, and 1 full-on awesome crowd. Tonight should be another of those, unless the heat is unbearable. It's over 100 here today. They were installing AC in the theater as we went up on Thursday, and it better be ready by now.

If it is, it should be a rockin' closing; pre-sales are good. Still only going to be barely breaking even, but at least the cast will go out on a high note, which is all I really care about.

So are you making the border crossing at Sarnia? Because that route should take you right past our door. You and the henchgirl are welcome to stop in or even crash for a few hours if you need a break from the road.

Awesome!!! Well, we'll try! That would be awesome. I suppose that's the route we're taking? It's on the way to Joliet, IL.

We'll be leaving Hamilton around 9, so that's about six hours with picking up money and border crossing and pit stops. Basically, we'll be there ass-late, when we get there.

Don't feel so bad, we're just blazing through. We'll be getting in to crash with someone around 3am, and will be hitting the trail the next morning.

Man, who knew I had TWO friends there? I'd say "next time we do this tour!" but there's no way in hell I'm doing Hamilton again. Maybe if we do the Fringe in London, Ontario?
