Scene: on the bed at 3am, as Henchgirl--dressed in sexy lingerie--attempts to wrest her boyfriend's attention from the Nicktoons channel

HENCHGIRL: A-hem.

ME: Mm?

HENCHGIRL: A-hemmmmm.

ME: Y'know... there's something I've been wondering for years now.

HENCHGIRL: Mmmmyyesss?

ME: How the hell does Catdog poo?

HENCHGIRL: (pause, violent lurch)

ME: Does poo? Do poo? Is it singular poo or plural poo?

HENCHGIRL: Not... not the sort of question you should be asking your nauseous girlfriend. I literally almost threw up in your lap right now.

ME: I think it's "do."

HENCHGIRL: ... How you managed to get me pregnant, I'll never know.

Fin.

IF Catdog poos, it is surely 'do poo', as Catdog is not a singular.

However, I'm pretty sure (I'm not in fact sure. I'm just HOPING) Catdog doesn't poo. /shudder

What throws me off is the theme song, which does refer to Catdog in the singular: "Alone in the world was a little Catdog."

That it does, and I had forgotten that.

Yeah, now I have no idea.

If you assert Catdog is plural, requiring "do," then he would require "don't" for not pooing.

I assert it's "doesn't," and "does" never enters the picture. Neither do plural forms. Catdog is singular--unless, perhaps you are British.

Well, through the dog end, of course.

Then he just eats it up again.

I always thought there was uhh something in the middle you don't normally see because of the fur.

Also if you are interested,I just rambled about the GL trailer. it's incoherent and lacks any structure but I'm sure there is *something* worthwhile there.

I think if they can get the CGI in tip-top shape by the time it's released, it could be fun. Hopefully we'll get an even better sequel that will expand the universe, give us Guy Gardner, and eschew any sense of trying to be Iron Man, because dear god, we're going to have to endure so many reviews comparing it to Iron Man (because, well, it was explicitly made to be DC's own Iron Man).

::flails::

Hoo boy, then you probably aren't going to enjoy what I had to say in the first paragraph since I spent that one good paragraph MOCKING the trailer exactly on those grounds. In fact just skip the entire first paragraph. ::nervous::

Though CGI aside the costume actually came out better than I thought but damn Hal is supposed to be wide shouldered and well built not tall and lean.

Haha, I'll keep that in mind.

Ehhh, I'm hopeful about the film, but I've been prepared for it to suck for awhile. I just want to to not suck enough so that it can maybe hopefully get actively good in the sequel. Because damn it, I want a sprawling GLC epic with Hal and Guy.

Heh.

I tend to scream 'this is gonna suck!' every time I see a trailer but I've been just as lucky when it comes to guessing a movie's quality as I am when guessing someone's gender through the internet. lol

I have been leaning towards a John Stewart movie but I wouldn't mind a Guy or a Hal one. It strikes me that they should have gone for Guy if they wanted to follow the Iron Man template.

I'm actually not surprised. Men never seem to notice lingerie.

Or maybe I'm just dating oblivious guys...

I have a sneaking suspicion that you are lying, sir. I do not believe that was the end of the conversation.

Fade To Black perhaps, but not Fin.

Yeah, none of my business but I write far too much porn with ridiculous preambles.

Being one of those sexy geeks myself, I can totally imagine.
