Why do I save red M&Ms for last? It's not like they taste any different. I mean, sure, I save the red jujubees and skittles and starburst, because those are usually the best. Seriously, save for the tastes of a few odd people, why do they even still have orange and lemon flavors? All anybody wants are the strawberry and cherry. But yeah, back to M&Ms. I always eat the browns and yellows, getting them out of the way, so I can have the prettiest, most flavorful-looking-ones for last. It's really stupid.

Hey, it's Matthew Modine on Law and Order: SVU. Where the hell has he been? BIRDY was a great movie. Anyone remember that one? Young Nic Cage? Peter Gabriel's first soundtrack? Good movie. Hey, this show has two cast members of OZ too, including my favorite gay serial killer, Christopher Melioni. He's not as much fun here. Lack of Toby Beecher will do that. Wow, Modine's still good. Lumpier and more leathery, but good.

I had a dream last night that I was trapped in a ship underwater with a black kitten and (magician and David Mamet regular) Ricky Jay. The hull was leaking and wouldn't be able to hold, plus we were probably running out of oxygen but I didn't think of that. We were able to get out and swim to the surface. Ricky Jay and I survived, but the kitten didn't make it. I was really sad for the first hour after I woke up.

That was my story.

quite honestly, i like the citrus better than any of the berry ones. personal taste. that, and i was scarred by the berry-flavored kids medicines that were forced down my throat.

i sort out all of my candy that comes in different colors (skittles, m&ms, jelly beans, etc.) in colored piles, then i eat them in order from grossest to best tasting. that's my method, and i'm sticking to it.

Again, they're M&Ms. They don't taste any different. Although I imagine there would be those who will sweat by their mother's corpse that different colored M&Ms taste differently.

you know, its funny, i know who ricky jay is, but only becaused he appeared on the same episode of "Don Kirshner's rock concert" as the sex pistols. Kansas, Ricky Jay, The Sex Pistols, and Robert Aguio... man the 70s were one mix and match decade.

I don't eat any specific colors last, but if I have time I sort them into colors and make patterns with them. And then I have to eat them symmetrically. Like if I have three reds, a blue, and three greens, for instance, I arrange them into a line or a picture and eat one red, one green, etc, so that those two stay even, until I get to the blue.

I don't even know if that made sense, or if it was interesting, or if I'm just neurotic. The end!

i do that too, you're not alone. i like keeping the numbers of different colors even. wierd ol' me.

My mom does that color M&M thing, too. She eats the "ugliest" ones first and saves the "prettiest" for last. Personally, I prefer Cadbury Mini Eggs. :)
